Richard Cook

Richard is a Director at TMS Consultancy and joined in 2018. Alongside the general day to day running of the business he also carries out Road Safety Audits and is a qualified team leader.
Richard has carried out over 400 road safety audits, these include a variety of scheme types including residential developments, dual carriageways, grade separated junctions and temporary traffic management. Richard has also been involved in a number of projects including, safety assessments, pedestrian and cycle accessibility audits and collision investigations.
Richard has been involved in projects such as, road safety audits for over fifteen electric vehicle charging points in Birmingham city centre and auditing temporary traffic management on Old Oak Common Lane in London to accommodate vehicular movements for the HS2 compound. He has also conducted a number of school street audits in Camden, Reading, and Newport.
As well as auditing Richard overseas IT, Health & Safety and Marketing. During the pandemic Richard developed and launched our e-Learning platform, Moodle, he also edited all the videos you see from our trainers while undertaking one of our e-learning courses. During 2023 he supported on the launch of our new website.
Outside of work Richard enjoys running and at weekends he can sometimes be found at his local parkrun pushing his daughter around in the pram! If he is not at parkrun, he might be at a festival or watching Middlesbrough!
